A few years ago a few of us got together to talk about doing our own Contract House. A couple of us are Norwegian, one more so than me, so for some reason Loki came to mind.

Later on that night or the next day, I decided on LoKey.Studio and registered the domain. We all met a few times more to talk about things, but it all just fizzled out.

I messed around with some ideas of my own in Blazor, but basically nothing happened.

Awakening

Sometime during 2026 I started messing around alot with graphic ideas for one my cars that I call "Wild Thing" and started doing artwork for it.

Some of the artwork that I was reviewing was by Ed Roth, and some of the Ed Roth artwork had a little imp on the bottom. Looked it up, it was:

Here's what IMPKO was:

• Products: Water-slide decals, bumper stickers ("bumperettes"), souvenir pennants, placards, novelty signs, and comic display articles. The trademark filing itself includes the little imp/elf mascot standing behind the "IMPKO" sign. The official design classification describes it as a leprechaun/elf/gnome figure.

Made me want to do something similar with LoKey.Studio, so came up with a sort of a Loki imp.

I like it. I'll use it as the avatar and mark on some graphics we do.

Fun Stuff

We'll use the LoKey.Studio name for most of our less serious work and play.
